We have been serious beach bums here in sunny California. We've hit Manhattan beach, Laguna beach...(so gorgeous), and tomorrow we're heading to San Clemente to camp on the beach. I am living in bikinis, sundresses, skirts, and flip flops...just the way I like it. Getting tan, listening to Bob, boogie boarding, sand everywhere, and salt on my skin. So chill....so perfect. I am seriously in heaven and I don't want to come back. Tomorrow I am going to learn to surf! I haven't taken many pictures because I've been so carefree that I don't want to worry about my camera getting sand in it! The kids are having a blast, playing with their second cousin Oliver, and growing to love the beach like their mommy and daddy do! Andin rode a big wave all the way in on a boogie board the other day....he didn't really mean to...he just didn't let go! But it was so rad. We rode the Trolley in Laguna, Cambria was waving to every living thing she saw! The water is perfect, and my shark fear has faded with the fun. (Hopefully not my famous last words!) I am going to go out with my camera and get some fun beach shots tomorrow....I have missed my third child. (That's what Devin calls my camera!)

Manhattan Beach?! That's my 'hood. I grew up there.
If you get a chance to go back, you should have breakfast at the Kettle which is right on MB Blvd. and then rent bikes at Fun Buns to ride on the strand. You should walk to the end of the pier too; there's a small free aquarium that the kids would probably love. I used to volunteer there.

How wonderful! We have beaches up here that are just beautiful, but too cold! I miss my sunny So Cal beaches!
