Our little Cambria learned to ride a two wheeler! She has been so uninterested in it for the last year. We would ask her every now and then if she wanted to try & she'd just say 'no thanks!' If we were riding or walking to get the mail or to the spa, she would always ride the razor scooter. But then Sunday she just decided she wanted to try...& within 20 minutes she was riding by herself. She does things in her own time. Always has. I am so proud of her.

Watching them both zip around with Devin running behind Cambria, I just couldn't believe that they were both on two wheels. I still think they should be this old! But it is sure fun watching them grow.

Hey andrea! I love reading your blog and looking at all your beautiful pictures. (This is jennys little sister) I got a dslr for christmas and am having fun learning about it. I just looove those pictures you took of your kids riding their bikes. How did you make the backround blur but your kids in focus?
Thanks for the sweet comment Clarissa! To get that effect is called Panning....you slow your shutter to about 1/30th or 1/40th & focus on the moving object, then as you click the shutter move the camera quickly to follow the object as it moves horizontally. It takes a little practice & sometimes luck...but it works! This is one of my favorite panning photos...http://andinlovescambria.blogspot.com/2009/04/there-he-goes.html
Good luck :)
